# AndroMeld

> AndroMeld connects an Android phone to a computer, tablet, or another phone. The native Mac app adds deep macOS integration, while AndroMeld Web opens Android apps in any browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, or ChromeOS. Connections are direct and require no account.

- The native Mac app requires macOS 15 or later. Screen mirroring and notifications require Android 12 or later; Fusion Mode requires Android 14 or later.
- The Mac app opens Android apps in resizable Mac windows with screen, audio, keyboard, and trackpad input. It also mounts Android storage in Finder, syncs notifications and clipboard, launches apps from Spotlight, provides Fusion Mode, and includes an MCP server.
- The Mac app connects over USB or Wireless ADB. Files, screen content, notifications, and clipboard data stay local between the Mac and phone; no account is required.
- AndroMeld Web works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and ChromeOS in any browser, including Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox, with no browser version requirement and no window-size requirement. Tablets and phones are supported, with touch control. Only the USB setup path needs desktop Chrome or Edge, because it relies on WebUSB.
- AndroMeld Web requires the phone-side AndroMeld Web subsystem on Android 16 or later. Nothing needs to be installed on the computer.
- AndroMeld Web offers three setup paths: a fresh wireless connection code, a guided USB WebUSB setup in desktop Chrome or Edge, or the native Mac app on macOS 15 or later.
- AndroMeld Web opens multiple Android apps in separate windows inside one browser window; supports search and launch for installed, recent, and running apps; sends pasted links, phone numbers, and email addresses to Android; transfers files in both directions by drag and drop; synchronizes the text clipboard in both directions; forwards audio; accepts touchscreen, mouse, and keyboard input; and offers portrait, landscape, and wide foldable window layouts.
- AndroMeld Web sends app video, audio, input, clipboard content, and files directly between the browser and phone. It has no account or sign-in, uses a one-time code for each new browser connection, and requires approval on the phone.
- The native Mac app is macOS-only. Everyone else can use AndroMeld Web, but the Web version does not include Finder mounting, notification sync, Spotlight launch, Fusion Mode, or the MCP server.
