AndDrive Support
Seamless Mac and Android Integration Solution
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
AndDrive connects your Mac and Android device via USB or Wi-Fi using the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) protocol. Once connected, it seamlessly mounts your Android file system directly into Finder and permits high-definition screen mirroring with low latency.
How do I pair my phone wirelessly?
Ensure both your Mac and Android device are on the same Wi-Fi network. In you Android developer settings, enable "Wireless Debugging", and pair using the QR Code or Pairing Code displayed within AndDrive settings.
You must enable Developer Options and USB Debugging on your Android phone before AndDrive can establish a connection.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All screen casting, file transfers, and device interactions take place locally. We prioritize your security by not sending any device data to the cloud.
Will you store my files or user data?
No. We employ a completely localized architecture. Your Android files and screen data are transmitted directly to your Mac. No persistent files, user behavior, or account data is stored on external servers.
How can I delete my account?
Because AndDrive functions entirely offline-first, you do not need an account or email to use it. Since we do not have an account system and do not store any of your data on remote servers, there is no account, usage history, or user profile to delete.
If you wish to remove all local traces, you can simply disconnect your phone, delete the app, and remove the local cache data on your Mac.
